Size: Approximately 7.8 cm in diameter x 6.8 cm in height These are two soba choko (small bowls for soba noodles) made by the fifth generation Souha (Souha V) of Arita-yaki (Arita ware), featuring sometsuke (blue and white) designs of shihou-wari ayame-mon (four-sided split iris pattern) and sometsuke shihou-wari sansui-mon (four-sided split landscape pattern). The retro feel of the early Souha V pieces is quite soothing. There is no noticeable damage, but please consider this item with the understanding that it has been stored at home for a long time and that it has the characteristics of the pottery's finish.
