The composition and the contrast between the white porcelain and the colored painting are exquisite, and I think you can easily enjoy the characteristics of the Geidai (Tokyo University of the Arts) style of colored painting, which makes the most of the white background. They are made as vessels for whisking matcha or drinking tea, but they are a versatile set that can be used for serving food.
