Metal fittings are attached to both ends. Each has a split ring and a lobster clasp. You can attach house keys, car keys, etc. to the split ring. The lobster clasp opens and closes easily, so you can hang the keychain from a bag or a belt loop on your clothes. Use it however you like. I made a lot of these, including prototypes, and I'm selling unused ones. Handmade by an amateur. The ends of the cords are heat-sealed with fire to prevent fraying (to keep the cords from unraveling), but there are some areas that are slightly burned black due to the intensity of the fire.
