Purchased over 20 years ago from an antique shop in France. As the photos show, this is a very soft-looking, beautiful enamel pot. It's white with a thick light blue line and a thin gold line. It's from the ETOILE company, and there's a stamp on the bottom. As you know, ETOILE is a long-established Belgian enamel company, highly popular among antique enamel fans for its elegant, hand-painted, high-quality pots, canisters, etc. This enamelware is one of their old pots. This design from ETOILE is a popular one that seems to exist but isn't often seen. I was told it was from around 1920. The condition is as it was when I bought it. Old enamel pots often have holes or rust, but as the photos show, there are some marks, mainly around the rim where the lid touches when opening and closing, but there are no noticeable large dents on the body, and it's in relatively good condition. The inside is also in decent shape. It still has a shine on the surface, and for an old ETOILE pot, it might be considered a beautiful item. It seems it can still be used perfectly well. It's refreshing and cute to display, and it can be used as a pot, of course, or as a watering jug. Recommended for those who have a blue-themed kitchen display shelf.
