This is a remote control for BUFFALO DVR-W1 and other models. When the main unit was still working, the original remote control broke, so I purchased this one from the Buffalo manufacturer's website. Afterwards, the main unit broke, and the remote control became unnecessary. It was kept out of direct sunlight, so I think it's in relatively good condition. (This is just my personal opinion.)
