I received this as a mizusashi (water container), but it has a deformed, almost oval-shaped mouth, so it doesn't have a matching lid. Considering it's titled "Minami no Shima" (Southern Island), you could use a coconut leaf or a hollowed-out coconut as a lid. You could also thread a rope or string through the handle and use it as an outdoor storage container or a decorative item. This would be great for someone looking for something unique or someone who loves the Southern Islands. There is a crack in the bottom, but it doesn't leak water at the moment.
