Long ears gather good fortune, leaping姿 (sugata - appearance/form) means things will go smoothly, and it is also said to represent the prosperity of descendants. The sound of the bell is said to call the gods and have a purifying effect. This is a handmade item that my 80-year-old mother has been making as a hobby for about 10 years. When my mother was young, she collected antique kimonos in Kyoto. She made this from scratch by hand using those kimonos. Because old cloth is used, there may be unique stains or damage.
