This is a belt buckle featuring a flowing water chrysanthemum design. I purchased it at an antique market. The flower part is a reddish-brown and gold color, and despite being metalwork, it has a colorful and華やかな impression. The shop owner told me that it was originally a sword fitting that was repurposed as an accessory. In addition to being a belt buckle, you could also replace the clasp on the back to make it a brooch, or use it for handmade parts, etc. There are no markings or engravings.
