They can be easily separated with the Velcro on their hands, so you can share them with siblings or friends, or use both to increase the warmth. The Hot-Pak®, a microwave-safe heat pack using grains, used in Warmies, was invented in London in 1995 and applied to stuffed animals the following year, 1996. For a quarter of a century, Warmies have been handmade with the highest standards of quality and safety. You can get comfortable warmth for about 1 hour by heating them in the microwave. They can be reheated and used repeatedly.
