Thank you for viewing! This is a wool check shirt from NORTHERN SHIRT, dating from the late 1940s to the mid-1950s. The color has a fantastic atmosphere, and it's clearly vintage at a glance. Image 10 The small cursive tag has an outstanding feel. Image 3 The collar is a long point that flips outwards. It's my favorite collar style. The buttons have two holes. The larger size makes them easy to fasten and unfasten, even with gloves on. Images 1 & 4 The most distinctive feature and selling point of this shirt is the unusually close arrangement of the six front buttons at the top. The buttons are large, making them appear even more packed together. Old French jackets also have a similar button arrangement. Since there are no buttons below the navel, it has a look similar to a grandpa shirt. When you put your hands in your pants pockets, the hem spreads out, making it stress-free. Image Example 6 By the way, different fabric is applied to the back of the collar, the back of the wrists, the back of the front placket, and the back of the chest pocket flap. Unfortunately, this different fabric is completely deteriorated, so it has been removed from the back of the neck and the back of the front placket. Image 9 ・No stains or dirt overall ・No missing buttons The lining is completely deteriorated and can be easily torn by hand. You could say it's easy to remove, haha. I think it would be best to repair it, but it can be worn without any problems as is. Considering the age, I think it's in good condition. I especially recommend this to those who are looking for a sturdy, oversized shirt, or those who are looking for something with an unusual, unconventional design that doesn't look like everyone else's, but is still easy to wear.
