This is a calligraphy work "Fukuju" (Good Fortune and Longevity) by Sadaharu Horio, created in 1999. Size: 37.5cm (height) x 36cm (width). This work was given to my father by a mutual friend who had a connection with Mr. Horio. Originally, the friend received it directly from Mr. Horio himself, and it was stored in a brown envelope. The characters "Fukuju" written in pencil on the brown envelope are also said to be in Mr. Horio's own handwriting. Due to its age, the paper shows some yellowing and stains. There are also creases from storage, but it could be restored nicely by backing it at a mounting shop. I would be happy to pass this on to someone who is interested in Mr. Sadaharu Horio's calligraphy and will cherish it. Please consider it.
