Overall, a glossy metallic color and matte finish on the armor create a sense of weight, eliminating the cheap, toy-like quality often found in plastic model kits. The undersides of the armor are also painted dark to make the silhouette of the machine clear, giving it a three-dimensional and imposing presence. The product condition is "Like New" as the Sword Calamity was completed in December 2024 and the Astray Blue Frame Second Revise in March 2025. They have been treated with a matte finish, decals, and weathering (dirt and damage effects), so it's difficult to say definitively. The effect parts, such as the beam saber of the Sword Calamity, are gradient painted with candy light green to give the impression of emitting light. The frame of the Astray Blue Frame Second Revise is painted with a blue velvet color, which appears to have a polarized blue color depending on how the light hits it. The pilot, Gai Murakumo, figure is also painted.
