Fender Stratocaster Decal Stickers (Repair) - Set of 2 These are sticker type decals, which are easy to apply, and have been very well-received, instead of the difficult-to-apply water-transfer type. They are peel-and-stick type with a transparent background and are water-resistant, so unlike water-transfer decals, they are fine if they get wet or rained on. *These are not cheap, low-quality products that will easily rub off or disappear when wet. The classic and very popular spaghetti logo for Fender. Commonly known as the "spa logo." How to Apply: Cut the decal to your desired size, peel it off the backing, and apply it while smoothing out any air bubbles with your finger. Then, gently warm it with a hairdryer, etc., to help it adhere. (Be careful not to overheat, as this can melt the paint or lacquer and negatively affect the wood of the headstock.) It will initially appear slightly milky-white, but it will become more transparent and blend in over time with the application of heat. Many high-value, real vintage Fender guitars have had their logos peel or wear off, and have been repaired with decals. However, please refrain from purchasing if you are hesitant about applying a Fender decal. (Please look for a Fender neck with the original logo intact.) These are easy-to-apply sticker type decals, not the water-transfer type, so you shouldn't have any trouble applying them. (I have never received any complaints about this.)
