Most likely, most people will look at this and say, "What the heck is this black tube?" ^_^; Yes, it's a well-known item for those in the know, but completely unknown to others. It's been a "phantom instrument" for a long time, difficult to obtain, and it's probably not an exaggeration to say it's impossible to get now (￣。￣;) The reason I'm being so vague with "apparently" is because there's a certain reason for it (￣△￣) Recently, there's been a lot of hype around a guitar playing technique, one of which is the "slide technique," which is exactly what it sounds like. Well, it's definitely a familiar tool for guitar players (´V`)♪ The shop manager at my favorite musical instrument store told me that this familiar tool is now selling like crazy. He prefaced his statement by saying, "I didn't know anyone else had one..." and then told me that for some reason, a lot of people have been looking for it lately, and some even say they already own one (｀´） Actually, I know someone else who owns one, but it was literally just that person. And I, too, made a huge blunder, dropping one of my two (and the one I used for my main, "sister finger") during a slide solo and shattering it to pieces (because it's ceramic!). Now, I'm left with just this one (for my pinky), but the shop manager said, "It's no longer available on the market, and production has already stopped" (-_-;) However, the shop manager then said, "Replicas are circulating" (-_-#) But I want to say this: I tried playing fingerstyle on a resonator guitar at that shop using a replica with the "MUDSLIDE" lettering boldly printed on it. It was heavy, but it just slid around with a "clink-clink" sound. It was so bad that I hesitated (or was discouraged?) to even call it a replica (>.<) So, as a surprise from me, who can't play guitar anymore due to peripheral neuropathy and has made this a "white elephant," I'm tearfully putting up for sale this item, the pinnacle of bottleneck slides. I hope you'll experience its high quality, feel it, rejoice, and make some beautiful sounds with it (o_ _)o
