In French, "Fougères" means "fern" in Japanese, and the lovely small flowers and delicate ferns are drawn all around the body of the glass, making it a gorgeous and charming glass. It has the unique transparency and weight of Baccarat, and is one of the glasses that is not often seen on the market. It was manufactured before 1936 (around 1900), so it does not have the Baccarat mark, but please check image No. 10. It is a sherry glass for before and after meals, but it is the perfect "shape and size" for Japanese sake. Size (approx.): Height 10 cm / Diameter 5.4 cm Weight 82 g & 90 g Capacity 75 ml Condition: As these are antique glasses from about 100 years ago, there is some wear and tear, but there are no scratches, chips, or other damage that would affect the value of the product, and they are in very good condition. Compared to current Baccarat glasses, antique and vintage items, which are *rare and have added value*, often show pattern misalignments due to acid etching, slight stains from chemicals, air bubbles that appeared during the manufacturing process, and kiln marks such as cut marks and separation marks made when the foot of the glass was cut.
