This is a donburi bowl I purchased at an antique market. I liked the dragon design on the inside, so I brought it home. Large phoenixes are flying in a row around the body of the bowl. It's a gorgeous and extravagant large bowl. An antique sometsuke (blue and white) large bowl. The powerfully drawn "dragon" and the elegant "phoenix" are a pair, a very auspicious design. From the inner bottom to the outer side, and even the fine patterns on the rim, everything is hand-painted with care, and you can feel the breath of the craftsman of the time. ■Size (approx.)
