There are flow patterns on this side as well, but it's more subdued than the front, allowing you to appreciate the blue color of the Soryuseki. It is expensive, so please consider it after you are satisfied with it. (^人^) While organizing my grandfather's house, I found inkstones and inkstone slabs he made himself. He used the Soryuseki (★) he had stored to make inkstones, which was one of his hobbies. He was an amateur when it came to making inkstones. These are items my grandfather, who was a master of stone stacking, made while enjoying himself. I believe he had a good eye for stones.
