This is a commemorative item from the adult coming-of-age ceremony held in Taito Ward, Tokyo in 1962. I received this from my uncle a few years ago, but I haven't had a chance to use it, so I'm putting it up for sale. It's from 1962, so it's very old, but it's in beautiful condition with no rust. There are some cracks in the paint of the dove illustration. Please check the photos. Large and small can openers are stored inside. I'm not sure how well they cut, but they don't appear to have been used. I imagine canned food was the mainstream at the time. It's made in Japan. In photos 7 and 8, when you lower the knob in the center of the ring, the ring rotates, and the cut in the ring appears. When it fits into the groove, the ring does not rotate and is fixed. I believe this is a very valuable item from 63 years ago. Thank you.
