The first 5 appeared in 1963 and became a huge hit. ● The Sportsmatic 5 Deluxe, which appeared in 1964, is an upgraded version of the standard model. It features an independent pusher for quickly changing the date, and a sophisticated finish with a luxurious feel on the case, dial, and chapter ring. ※ When using the pusher at the 3 o'clock position to change the date, please set the watch hands to around 6 o'clock before using it. The basic movement is Caliber 6619 (standard), while the Deluxe uses Caliber 7619, emphasizing a luxurious impression. The silver dial with a sunray finish is vivid and beautiful, a masterpiece of a vintage Japanese wristwatch. ● There are scratches near the center of the dial. The crystal and hands are in clean condition for a watch of this age, with no noticeable scratches. The case has scratches, but no major dents. The dolphin mark on the back cover remains. Please check the photos. The leather strap is new, made by BAMBI. ● Upon listing, I checked the operation, and it is working properly when wound by shaking the watch. The daily rate is -10 seconds to -15 seconds when measured flat on a timegrapher.
