Significant price reduction! This is a highly rare UK original mono vinyl record of The Beatles' "With The Beatles." The matrix is the extremely rare 5N. The playback is remarkably good, considering it's 60 years old, and it's a double-digit stamper on both sides. UK originals exist with matrices 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, but 1N and 7N are the most common. This 5N is quite scarce. 1N is very expensive, so this is recommended for those who want to enjoy the original sound at a good value. XEX 447-5N PR 4 XEX 448-5N HM 1 The members were present for the mixing of the mono version, making this a valuable and cherished record. John Lennon's vocals are incredible, and you really feel that John was the driving force behind the early Beatles' mono sound. The jacket condition is consistent with its age, but the photo of the members on the front is relatively good. The disc has some hairline scratches, but in my setup (AT VMN10CB), I only noticed very slight pops at the beginning of A1 and B1, and the playback was excellent overall. With the recent popularity of vinyl records, the rarity is increasing, and UK originals are becoming harder to find. This is very rare, but please purchase only if you understand that it is a used record. There are, of course, no fatal playback issues, but the way the sound is perceived can vary depending on the playback environment, such as the shape and wear of the stylus, the characteristics of the cartridge, the arm settings, the tracking force, and the overall combination of playback equipment.
