Shigaraki-yaki cup & saucer set. There are two sets. I am selling these as I declutter. I hope to pass them on to someone who will appreciate them. As they are pottery, the appearance varies depending on the glaze drips. Each piece has a unique color, pattern, texture, and the subtle soiling from soot, as well as the "air" (small holes) within the vessel, creating a wonderful feel. There are cracks (crazing?) in the glaze inside the cups and on the plates, which occurred during the firing process. They are very lovely! Please take a close look at the images.
