This is a practice mute for piccolo trumpet made by Best Brass. I bought it to use in situations where I couldn't make any noise, and it worked perfectly. The resistance is like a normal practice mute, but the sound is very quiet and the pitch doesn't change, so it can also be used to warm up before a performance. It's clean with no dents, except for some scratches on the bottom of the mute.
