This is a Bizen-yaki lion ornament. I purchased it over 10 years ago from a Bizen-yaki specialty store in Omotecho Shopping Street, Okayama City. Inside the lion's head covering is Daikoku-sama, and it has an elaborate design. The figure of him holding a fan and dancing on a rice bale with a peach mark is charming and a lucky item. I bought it at first sight, but I am selling it because it has become cramped due to moving.
