This is a set of 5 small, powdered-slip bowls by Jun Matsuo of Ryozan Kiln in Takeo City, Saga Prefecture. They were purchased from Seto Fuji, a pottery shop in Yamagata. These small bowls have a rustic, earthy feel. Diameter: Approximately 15 cm Please refer to the photos for the size. After studying pottery in Kyoto, he returned home and immediately established a separate workshop on the same property, beginning his own pottery. He has been selected for numerous domestic pottery exhibitions, including the Japan Traditional Art Crafts Exhibition, and is active in Saga, Kyushu. He exhibited his "Salt-glazed Flower Vase" at the British Museum exhibition in London, receiving high praise from overseas.
