I am offering a set of three famous and representative wood carvings from Hokkaido. First, there is a wood-carved Ainu couple statue. The base measures approximately 8cm in height and 16.5cm in width. The statue itself is about 18cm tall. The words "Lake Akan, September 1, 1985" are inscribed on the bottom of the base. It weighs approximately 590g. Second, there is a Nipopo statue. It is approximately 24.5cm tall. The bottom of the statue is inscribed with "Abashiri Prison." It weighs approximately 570g. Third, there is a bear statue holding a fish (salmon?). The base measures approximately 12cm in height and 23cm in width. The bear itself is about 11cm tall. The words "Showa Shinzan, August 21, 1981" are inscribed on the bear's foot. It weighs approximately 670g. Although they are old, they are in very good condition, with only minor signs of aging.
