This is a set-up made by upcycling a Kuro-tomesode (formal black kimono). Measurements (laid flat): * Top * Width (underarm to cuff): approx. 58 cm * Length: approx. 49 cm * Pants * Total length: approx. 90 cm * Hem width: approx. 40 cm * Stole * Approx. 186 cm x approx. 33.5 cm * Ribbon Tie * Length: approx. 187 cm * Please allow for some error. The waist is fully elasticated. 2.5 cm wide elastic, 80 cm long, is temporarily secured with safety pins. Please adjust the waist size to your own by sewing it larger or smaller. There are five belt loops sewn on the waist, made of the same fabric. There are a total of 8 tucks, front and back. The pants have a diamond-shaped gusset at the crotch to allow for a wider range of movement. The diamond shape also provides extra room inside the pants. The top can be worn either way, front or back, as you prefer. Adhesive tape has been applied around the neckline as interfacing and to the edges of the diamond-shaped gusset to prevent fraying. The selvedge is left as is, and the cut edges have been serged. The fabric for a bolero was insufficient, so the stole was made by combining the sleeves of the kimono. A simple ribbon pin is included. A pearl elastic band is available for an additional 150 yen if desired. The garment has not been pre-washed. It was made as is from a used kimono. Although it has been ironed, there may still be creases from the kimono and some stains that were present from the beginning. This is a handmade item created by an amateur as a hobby. There may be imperfections such as loose threads, unevenness, and overlooked stains. Please consider this before purchasing. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection.
