■ Royal Crown Derby (England) • Known as the only brand to be granted both "Royal" and "Crown" titles by the British Royal Family. ■ Series Name: Derby Posies • A long-selling bestseller loved since the mid-1900s. • "Posy" means "small bouquet," and it features a lovely design inspired by spring wildflowers. ■ Manufacturing Era: The Roman numeral "XXXII" on the backstamp (back mark) suggests that it was manufactured in 1969. Judging from the shape and size, it is probably for coffee rather than tea, but the unusual shape and the different floral patterns inside each cup are distinctive. I heard that my grandparents purchased it in London in the 1970s. In Japan, sets of 5 cups are common, but this is a set of 6 cups (perhaps because local specifications often use a dozen count?). There is a slight chip inside one of the cups (glued, see images 8 and 9).
