According to the shop owner, it dates back to the Meiji to Taisho eras. ◆ I think Imari ware goes well not only with Japanese food but also surprisingly with Western food. It's a large plate that looks great for serving sashimi platters, as well as meat dishes and salads. ◆ The design is highly artistic and has a somewhat modern feel. While plants such as flowers are intricately drawn around the edges, the center features a landscape painting with negative space.
