This is an old, folk kiln oil bottle. It's a pre-war item, with a dark gray body made from clay with a high iron content, and fine crackling. Similar items are found in Karatsu, Ryumon, and Hashima ware, so the exact origin is unknown. The contents have permeated the clay, and some areas show a "rain leak" effect.
