This product is a two-car set of the Oha 35 (KATO 1-511). KATO standard interior lights are already installed. (Product Condition) The product was purchased, had interior lights installed for a short-term display, and had the inrecal and aftermarket parts applied. It was then stored in its original box and has never been run. All unused inrecal and aftermarket parts are included. The product itself shows no noticeable defects. It is in almost new condition. (Actual Vehicle Description) The JNR Oha 35 series passenger cars are a group of 20m-class steel passenger cars manufactured by the Ministry of Railways, the predecessor of the Japanese National Railways. The term "Oha 35 series" is not an official series designation established by JNR, but a convenient term to collectively refer to the official steel passenger cars with a similar body structure to the Suha 33650 (later Oha 35) which began production in 1939 (Showa 14). As an improved version of the Suha 32 series passenger cars, various types were manufactured from the late 1930s. The Oha 35, the main type, is a third-class seating car, and 1,301 cars were manufactured in total from 1939 to 1943 and from 1946 to 1948 in various factories.
