The inside of the Men's futon (padding), the part that touches the neck, has been self-repaired with navy synthetic leather for kendo equipment repair (Kusakura Dr. Mendo navy Clarino). There is also damage due to wear on the edge of the Men's futon that touches the Men himo (face guard strings), but it has not been repaired.
