This is not a new item. I've used it about 10 times. It's a shucabag by Shuka. It's a handbag with a handle made of connected green beads. It can also be used as a shoulder bag or crossbody bag using the metal chain. It's a 2-way bag. I took photos with both attached now, but you can use it by removing either one; they are detachable. I didn't ask about the fabric type, but Shuka often uses antique silk for her bags. The bird drawn on the fabric and the bird on the clasp are both lovely. It goes well with both Western and Japanese clothing. It's perfect for the graduation and entrance ceremonies in the coming season. I bought it at the Taisho Roman Department Store event at Isetan Shinjuku. I don't remember the exact purchase date, but I think it was about 5 years ago. Or maybe a little earlier???
