This is a set of four teacups, each with a rounded shape, a size that fits comfortably in the hand, a slightly distorted rim, and a charming sandy color and texture. I'm not very knowledgeable, so I don't know the maker's name for sure, but it seems to be the work of an artist. I've included photos of the markings on the bottom, hoping someone might recognize them. Each cup is slightly different, giving them a unique character not found in mass-produced items. Their gentle color complements matcha, green tea, and even black tea beautifully. However, they may not be suitable for extremely hot beverages. They haven't been used very often, and the chipped areas visible in the photos are apparently from the time of purchase.
