The top 5 are buttons, and the bottom has 3 snap buttons. The snap buttons are concealed with double layers of fabric. It's very versatile, as you can wear it as a cardigan, or button it all up and wear it as a dress. Made of 100% cotton flannel, it's warm and feels good against the skin. It shows signs of wear, but it's soft and comfortable to wear. The button at the neckline is stiff, so I didn't use it. There are two pockets, one on each side.
