This item was purchased used in good condition, having been used very little. I already have a full set of 4 Omega Pacific Link Cams, which I use for both rock climbing and multi-pitch routes, so I bought this cam as a spare. I've only used it once on a multi-pitch route after purchasing it, so there are some scratches. I also have cams from other manufacturers, and while they are heavier... I always end up taking the Omega Pacifics, as I trust them completely. I can see why they're still popular even though they've been discontinued. All my climbing buddies use Omega Pacific Link Cams. I maintain them with silicone spray. If you're not very familiar with using cams, I recommend reading technical books or learning from experienced climbers. You could get the trigger stuck too far in, making it difficult to retrieve. I occasionally see abandoned cams... Use at your own risk.
