Circa 1900/20 Frosted finish The delicate and beautiful crystal water/wine glass features Saint-Louis' unique ground pattern, which is acid-etched with very fine small flowers like marguerites all over the glass. The word "AMITIE" is visible, decorated with gold leaf in a sparkling and stylish manner, with a window in one place. Meaning "friendship" in French. The edging surrounding the letters is also carefully finished, and the design, which resembles an iris flower, is lovely and unique to Saint-Louis, creating a romantic atmosphere. The ground pattern is also well-organized and feels comfortable in the hand. The stem, which continues with a button in between, is designed to be non-slip and easy to hold, with a size that provides stability. The pattern beautifully emerges when water is poured in.
