The colors are a pale green (byakuroku) tinged with a light red (tankou), reminiscent of night cherry blossoms or aurora borealis, creating a fantastical work of art. I had a kimono fabric made to order that would match a cherry blossom patterned obi I have listed separately, but I haven't had many opportunities to wear it, other than for formal wear, so I am listing it. I also had the hakake (lining) dyed separately to match this fabric, so I will include it as a set. This is the finest silk crepe from Ito-Kou, a long-established Kyoto company.
