This is an auction for a Showa-retro National (Panasonic) strobe. It's a product from the early 1980s, and it seems it was sold under the nickname "Strobot" back then. Also known as an external auto strobe, its main selling point was that it could adjust the light independently of the camera. It's not TTL metering, but rather a strobe that measures the light it emits itself to determine the exposure... It has a sync terminal, and as long as the aperture is set correctly, it's a strobe that can take proper photos. By using an external auto strobe, even a fully manual classic camera becomes a complete AE camera indoors. There are no scratches or marks, and it's been stored in a dehumidified storage unit in such a clean condition that you might wonder, "Did anyone even use this?"
