The red-circled area of the boom arm can be slowly rotated even when the screw is tightened (this was the case when purchased, and it's unclear if this is a specification). It doesn't move on its own, and there have been no practical problems with its use so far. Considering this, I'm offering it at a low price. For those who want a sturdy, long-lasting, and classic stand at a good value.
