With too much time on her hands, she comes to the aquarium where her estranged father works. There, she meets Umi, a mysterious boy who swims gracefully in the large water tank. Ruka is told by her father that Umi and his brother Sora were raised by dugongs. As Ruka interacts with the brothers, various strange phenomena are occurring on Earth...
