These are coasters made from scraps of vintage Kantha quilts (Rally Quilts). They are handmade with hand-stitching. The Kantha quilts are sewn together using a method that avoids unevenness. The back is also patchwork. These are amateur handmade items. The thread finishing and sewing may not be perfectly uniform, so we ask for your understanding if you are purchasing handmade items.☺︎ Since they are sewn according to the Kantha quilt scraps, they are not perfectly square. Since the cloths are reused, the colors and patterns vary from piece to piece, and the way they fade and the areas that fade are all different, so no two are exactly alike. They have a beauty like a painting. Due to the nature of Kantha quilts, please understand that there may be embroidery, thread fraying or stretching, possibility of color fading, stains, or holes.
