This is Schuricht's 9th, highly praised by Koh Yoshino Uno. It's a 9th Symphony full of drive, and the bright sound of the Orchestre de la Société des Concerts du Conservatoire perfectly matches Schuricht's conducting! Schuricht's complete Beethoven symphony cycle is unfortunately in monaural recording, but the 9th was recorded in stereo! As expected, listening to the chorus in stereo is wonderful, with a fantastic atmosphere and spaciousness. I highly recommend it to those who haven't heard it yet!
