This is an a.v.v cotton dress. I bought it in the store as a summer item, but the fabric is quite sturdy, so I think you can wear it in winter with a long-sleeved T-shirt or turtleneck underneath. It's too cute, and I haven't been able to wear it much. I'd like to give it to someone who will use it.
