This is a fine example of Ko-Imari ware from the mid-Edo period, a deep bowl with celadon glaze and blue-and-white painted bat and floral designs. The rim is celadon, and the interior features high-quality blue-and-white painting of four bats. The sides are also decorated with blue-and-white floral patterns. The underside is decorated with blue-and-white arabesque patterns, and the inside of the foot ring bears a ceramic mark from the mid-Edo period (around the Genroku era). The condition is very good. The size is 30 cm in diameter at the mouth, 16 cm in diameter at the base, and 8.5 cm in height. It will be carefully packed and shipped.
