This is a twist-action two-color ballpoint pen. The ink doesn't flow. I've kept it in a drawer, so I don't know when I bought it. I'm not very knowledgeable about writing instruments, but I was drawn to the beautiful gold color. There are no noticeable scratches or stains on the body, but since the ink doesn't flow, I'll classify it as having some scratches and stains.
