I used this dress for my wedding after-party. The skirt was originally long, so I had it altered to fit my height of 158cm, wearing 6.6cm heels, so that the hemline would be just above the top of my foot, as shown in the first image. I spent money on the alteration, so the hem looks very neat, as if it was that length from the beginning. This dress was perfect for my body type, which is a "skeleton wave" type, and it was a huge success! As I have quite sloped shoulders, I was concerned about the dress slipping off my shoulders, but it wasn't a problem when I used silicone shoulder pads like a NuBra.
