This appears to be a never-worn, silk, lined Michiyuki collar coat with basting threads still attached. The puffed weave and gradation dyeing are beautiful. There is a signature 【岩浅公展】 (Iwaasa Kimihiro) on the shoulder lining. There is a 【東京さが美】 (Tokyo Sagami) tag on the underside of the front panel's vertical collar. There is evidence of the sleeves being lengthened (see image 5), and there may be small scratches or stains, but no particularly noticeable damage or stains are apparent.
