I tried it on once, but my child didn't like it, so I haven't used it outside. You can use it with ice packs that you have at home. There's a slight stain-like line, but it was there from the beginning, and I don't think it's noticeable, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. Thank you for considering.
