Thank you for viewing. This is a vintage, Showa-era obi with a full pattern, featuring a traditional design in dark green and gold, made of genuine silk. (The color in photo 13 is the closest representation.) ★Please note that color perception may vary. ◆Size Length: Approximately 392cm Width: Tare-saki (end) approximately 30cm, Te-saki (hand) approximately 32.5cm (Please note that there may be slight variations due to amateur measurements.) ◆I'm not entirely sure, but because it's short, I think it might be a Kyo-bag obi, but the difference in width between the te-saki and tare-saki is a question mark? This obi was recently given to me by a relative. I've inspected it as best I can, and it's in beautiful condition with no stains or dirt (see photo 11), but there is some fraying as shown in the photo. It has been stored in a Japanese chest for many years, so please understand that there may be some fold marks and a slight transfer of odor. If the fraying is repaired, it can still be used, so I'm offering it to someone who likes it. I am not an expert on kimonos or obi, so I am listing this with the help of an acquaintance.
