This is a square lantern that my father, in his later years as a lantern craftsman, painstakingly crafted with great care. It's a piece from about 20-25 years ago. There are some scratches, stains, and paint peeling due to aging, as well as areas with verdigris, but I would like to ship it as is, without wiping it. Also, it leans slightly and wobbles a bit. Please check the images and consider accordingly. It would be charming as a hanging lantern under the eaves, or as a decoration in a garden, entryway, or alcove.
